PervasiveHealth 2026 will be held in October 2026 in Beijing, China, marking the first time the conference takes place in China and celebrating the 20th anniversary of PervasiveHealth.

PervasiveHealth is a premier international forum focusing on technologies and human factors related to the use of pervasive computing in healthcare and well-being. Over the past two decades, the conference has brought together researchers, designers, and industry leaders to explore how digital technologies shape health, care, and everyday life.

PervasiveHealth 2026 will center on the theme “Intelligent, Inclusive & Sustainable Digital Healthcare.”

The conference will explore how data, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies can be used as creative and systemic resources to empower individuals and communities. Particular emphasis will be placed on inclusive healthcare technologies, responsible AI, and sustainable digital health systems that support physical and mental well-being, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and public health management across diverse social and cultural contexts.

Beijing represents a unique global hub where large-scale healthcare systems, advanced digital infrastructure, and rapid innovation intersect. As a center for AI research, smart healthcare development, and public health innovation, the city offers a compelling setting to reflect on how digital health technologies can be deployed at scale while remaining human-centered, ethical, and socially responsible.

The conference will be hosted at China World Hotel, Beijing, located in the heart of the city’s central district. In addition to the academic program, participants will have opportunities to engage with the cultural heritage of Beijing through social and cultural activities (Beijing Opera, local cuisine, the Great Wall…)
